OUR STORY

Fronchesca C King

Chief Executive Officer/ Founder, Minister and Missionary

I exist to serve and assist vulnerable individuals who are in danger with aid, guidance, and hope.

I grew up in a very strict Pentecostal and Southern Baptist blended family. Being the oldest of 7 children I was rejected at birth by my mother. By the age of 5 years, I was being abused almost daily. But I was not given over to death, the Lord had a plan for my life. At age 7, I stood before the church, verbally accepted Jesus Christ into my heart, and was baptized.

Fast forward 40 years to the year 2017...

I am 47 years old with a 22 year old drug addicted son, who at a very early age was diagnosed with various mental health issues. I have a husband that is 17 years my senior and I am dealing with a debilitating autoimmune disease that has almost ended my life. My best friend of many years committed suicide that winter and my son went missing that spring. I watched my husband of many years get diagnosed with Stage 4 lung Cancer and died 41 days later in June of 2018. I sold our dream home in September of 2019 to care for that same mother that rejected me at birth to become her caregiver the last year of her life while witnessing her death of Stage 4 brain Cancer in July of 2020.

Later that same year I had to give a toddler to a father that he did not know and had never seen, whom I had cared for since he was an infant. I found myself feeling very depressed just a few days before Christmas. A friend invited me to go and feed the homeless with her on Christmas day of 2020 to help me get into a different headspace. Little did I know that one act of kindness ignited a flame in me that has led to the forming of Blessings of Brokenness, Inc, a 501 C-3, non-profit public charity.

My years of experience in administration, business & retail management, customer service/ telemarketing, event planning, daycare owner, caregiver, certified crematory operator, and ordained minister had finally paid off. All of those different career paths had prepared me for this great calling, “...to feed the flock of the slaughter.” A mandate that I was given on October 6, 2022.

My educational background includes an Associates in Computer Programming from State Tech at Memphis, an incomplete Bachelor's Degree in Business Management International Marketing from Memphis University, a Director’s Credential in Business Administration and Early Childhood Education from Jefferson Community College, and a CDA (Child Development Associate) from the Council for Professional Recognition. I was ordained as a Minister in September of 2020 through CGIA (Church Growth International of the America’s) [now CGIF] and am still currently active. I am in leadership at Evangel Shepherdsville and a 26-year volunteer with Evangel Prison Ministries.

I am remarried to a Spirit-filled man of God. My son is doing well and has been clean for almost 2 years. My health has greatly improved and the Lord wakes me each day with new blessings and a desire to help improve the quality of someone else’s life.
